The Consumer’s Research Council of America has consistently recommended Dr. Morrison as one of “America’s Top Dentists.” In 1999, Dr. Morrison received the top designation of "Master" from the Academy of General Dentistry (M.A.G.D). This title is awarded to less than 1% of all general dentists nationwide, with Dr. Morrison as one of the youngest dentists to achieve such distinction. As an active member of the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators, Dr. Morrison has had the pleasure of operating in front of the Academy at a national forum.
Committed to education, Dr. Morrison has served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry as well as a guest lecturer at the University of Maryland Dental School. To continually refine and update his own skills, he maintains a rigorous continuing education schedule. Dr. Morrison has always been an enthusiastic student. He earned top honors in multiple dental specialties, membership in three national honor societies, as well as magna cum laude when graduating with his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. He also graduated with honors from his undergraduate work at the College of William and Mary and earned the honor of magna cum laude from the Landon School in Bethesda. This dedication has furthered his commitment to providing the best possible treatment for those he is privileged to serve.
Dentistry has been a life long passion that Dr. Morrison credits his father, Dr. Paul Morrison, for inspiring. Under the precise mentoring of another father-son team, Dr. Richard V. Tucker and Dr. Richard D. Tucker who are considered to be two of the most gifted and influential dentists in the history of the profession, Dr. Morrison’s dental techniques became the artistry it is today.
Dr. Morrison's love for dentistry is a natural result of his commitment to giving the very best to others, believing that each person deserves no less. Exemplifying this dedication is the leadership role Dr. Morrison has served with a medical and dental mission that ministers to isolated, rural communities in the Dominican Republic. With the mission team of health care professionals, Dr. Morrison donates his time and talents to provide a full spectrum of dental care for residents of several of the country's poorest communities. Together with his wife, Grace, and their seven children, Dr. Morrison happily resides in Maryland.
